// WHAT YOU COMMAND

A persistent world built on real geography.

// 01

A real-world battlefield

Forces fly across the actual planet, between actual countries. The same shared map every commander online is fighting on — zoom out for theatre overview, zoom in for street-level deployments.

// 02

Four-ore economy

Build infrastructure that produces rock, iron, steel, and cryphite — each ore unlocks a different rung of the unit tree. Stockpile oil to fuel deployments and diamonds for premium upgrades.

// 03

9,000+ ore mines worldwide

Mines spread across every habitable region. Dispatch your soldiers and tanks on round-trip missions to extract ore — and fight any other commander who arrives during your extraction window.

// 04

Four kinds, ten tiers each

Recruit soldiers, weapons, tanks, and airplanes — ten escalating tiers each, with attack, defence, and HP scaling 60× from T1 to T10. Composition decides battles; ore decides composition.

// 05

Real-time PvP combat

Every attack launches live for everyone to see. Watch red arcs streak across the globe, see impacts scale with force size, and time your counter-strike before the strike lands.

// 06

Logistics over real distances

Tokyo to Buenos Aires is a long flight. Force composition decides speed — heavy tanks crawl, airplanes streak. Plan supply lines, not just attacks.

// HOW IT WORKS

Four steps from sign-up to global power.

  1. 01

    ENLIST

    Create your callsign, pick a real country, and inherit its geography. Free, instant start, no email verification gate.

  2. 02

    BUILD

    Construct your industry. Each tier of mining and refining unlocks higher-grade ores and the unit tiers that depend on them.

  3. 03

    EXTRACT

    Dispatch forces to public ore mines. Round-trip missions return your units with ore — but other commanders can intercept at the mine.

  4. 04

    WAGE

    When you’re ready, declare. Send tactical airstrikes, full-army assaults, or precision tank rolls. Every commander online sees your strike.

// ABOUT THE GAME

Frequently asked questions.

What is bitwar.app?

bitwar.app is a free real-time strategy MMO that plays in your browser. You take command of a real country, build an economy on four ore types, raise multi-tier armies, and fight other commanders live across a single shared world. No turn timer, no season cycle, no map reset — one continuous persistent world.

Is bitwar.app free to play?

Yes. Account creation, gameplay, the full economy, all unit tiers, mining, and combat are free. Premium diamonds offer cosmetic and quality-of-life upgrades only — there is no pay-to-win unit tier or attack power.

Do I need to install anything?

No. bitwar.app runs in any modern browser — Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari, on desktop or mobile. An optional Android app is available for full-screen play, but the browser version has every feature.

How does combat work?

Pick a target country, allocate units, and launch. Your force flies live across the world — every commander online sees it coming. On arrival, combat resolves by composite power: soldiers × 1 + weapons × 2 + tanks × 5 + airplanes × 12. Survivors return; losses are permanent.

How does mining work?

Over 9,000 ore mines are spread across the world. Dispatch a force on a round-trip mission; it travels there, extracts ore over a real-time window, then flies home. Other commanders can attack you at the mine — winner takes the slot.

Are there seasons or wipes?

No. bitwar.app is a single persistent world. Your nation, your stockpile, your army, and your battle history all carry forward. Stop playing for a week and your country still exists when you return — though your neighbours may have other plans for it.

The world clock is ticking.

Free to enlist. Free to play. No season cycle, no map reset, no pay-to-win. Pick a country and step on the map.
